Read this file to properly install block DXH51E2, after having downloaded it from a BBS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- After having decompressed DXH51E2, the following files will be available: ARCFILES.EXE, VOICE.EXE, READ2.TXT (this file), FILE_ID2.DIZ. For a fully automatic installation, you need the INSTALL.EXE program wich comes with the main compressed block DXH51E1. Move INSTALL.EXE to the directory where you have decompressed the DXH51E1 block then type INSTALL and specify the path where you want installation to be performed (Default installation path is C:\DXHUNTER); of course installation path will have to be the same where you installed the main block (the components of DXH51E1 block). If the installation program INSTALL.EXE is not available, you can proceed manually exploding the 2 .EXE files (they are self exploding) respecting the following rules: if the installation path is C:\DXHUNTER\ then type ARCFILES -d -o C:\DXHUNTER\ (-d and -o options and path termination backslash are mandatory) VOICE C:\DXHUNTER\ (path termination backslash is mandatory) ***WARNING*** if you didn't add YOURPATH\LIB to PATH string of AUTOEXEC.BAT (where YOURPATH represents the path where you've installed DXHUNTER main block) then you'll have to copy VBDRT10.EXE library file, from \LIB directory to installation directory (in our example C:\DXHUNTER\LIB must be added to the PATH string of AUTOEXEC.BAT; if not, VBDRT10.EXE present in C:\DXHUNTER\LIB, must be copied to C:\DXHUNTER). If you didn't extend PATH string into AUTOEXEC.BAT because it's too long and you moved BRUN45.EXE runtime library module to a path covered by PATH string, do the same with the VBDRT10.EXE moving it from \LIB directory to the same directory where you moved BRUN45.EXE. Now audio utilities are properly installed (see SOUNDS.TXT for sound parameters configuration). THE DXHUNTER: THE SOFT WAY OF HUNTING!!!.
